Creating your first layout
MultiViewer allows you to position windows in whichever way you like. Just open the streams you want to watch, drag them around, resize them, and when you're happy, open the main window again. At the top of the stream list, the "Save layout" button is now enabled. Give your layout a name, or if you had layouts before, you can replace it if you want to.
Next time, you can just press "Open saved layout" to re-open the same layout, and MultiViewer will open all the streams you had open and restore their position and settings as they were.
Editing your layout file manually
You can optionally edit your layout file by hand. It's a JSON file and it has an accompanying JSON schema to validate it. Next to the "Open saved layout" button, there's a button to reveal this file. MultiViewer for F1 will validate this file before it opens any layout, so make sure it is valid. You can use VS Code or other editors with support for JSON schema to validate your edits and to get hover descriptions.
